  • Our basement is wonderful! Thank you so much for your patience, suggestions and flexibility in design, planning and drawings.

  • Although this took quite a while to get it just the way we wanted it, John and Andy hung in there. They always called us to tell us when they would be there and if there was a problem or change of plans. They were very professional and had excellent suggestions for us. Because of our close involvement with them we were able to change our design/color/finish frequently and John and Andy were able to make the changes for us. We certainly made quite a few changes since the original design.

  • It has been so nice working together with the two of you to create such a beautiful room. This was a very extensive project and although it took a while, we could not be more pleased with the result. Our guests still cannot believe that this is our basement. Thank you again for our beautiful new room.

  • Install Whole-house Generator

  • I purchased a Guardian generator and had L.J. D'Amico Home Improvement install the unit.  The work was done in a timely manner.  I was given instructions on how to set up the time the generator would run each week.  John checked with me to make sure the unit was running okay.  I am very pleased with his work and professionalism.  I have recommended his company to others.  I have also called John to do other work for me.

  • When we needed a new roof on our house, we went to a contractors’ website
    to find roofers in the Cheektowaga area.  Fortunately we were given the
    name of John D’Amico.  He gave us a reasonable estimate, and his crew did a very good job under difficult circumstances.  We had lost a lot of the shingles in a
    windstorm, and needed the roof put on in the winter.  They were able to
    work only when the weather permitted.  After they finished, there was a
    heavy rainstorm, and when we went up in the attic, there were no leaks.
    We certainly will call D’Amico construction again when we need more work
    done on the house, and will recommend them to others.

  • We had a new roof put on our home, and had a roof built over our front deck. This is a vaulted ceiling with four lights on the ceiling and outlets. They also replaced the 2 by 4's on the deck floor. We are very happy with the quality of the work and the siding that was applied. After that we had our bathroom gutted out with new drywall applied and wiring installed. Also a new floor and toilet and counter top. We had a smaller window put in, and John built a clothes shoot cabinet for the bathroom. We are very happy with everything.

  • L.J.D'Amico Home Improvement was hired to perform construction on our home.  They added a 20' x 30' addition, electrical, drywall, new roof on the addition, new vinyl replacement windows throughout the house, a new roof on our 3-car garage, and complete siding on our home and garage.  I am totally satisfied with all work and would recommend this company.

  • We had an old bathtub removed and a new one installed, along with some new ceramic tile.  The work was done professionally and in a good time frame.  They were there when they said they would be at our convenience.  There was never a mess to clean up, and they were always considerate and neat while going about their business.  We will definitely call on them again to do future jobs.
